We win!

We know we’ve got great creative talent here at d.trio, and it seems our peers agree. The Summit Awards recognize excellence in creativity and effectiveness of advertising and communication content, and this year we won awards in two categories. One for our very own Movie Poster Campaign and one for the Lake City Rebrand.

d.trio Summer outing

We escaped the office for a few hours last week to cheer on the Twins. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather, but we could have asked for a better game (Twins lost 0-4). Even so, it was a fun afternoon. Megan even ran into her childhood friend Dick Leinenkugel, president of Leinenkugel’s brewery. Mmm, Summer Shandy.

Always Learning

Megan attended the quarterly AMI (Agency Management Institute) meeting in Nashville and spent quality time with her peers discussing the business of running an agency. As always, she came back to the office energized and excited to talk about new trends, including voice content (think Siri and Alexa), a new feature on LinkedIn that improves lead quality (LinkedIn Lift), and how using Instagram Stories works well for certain industries.

As an offshoot of the AMI meeting, Megan and Beth attended a 2-day training session in Chicago on presenting strategic ideas and insights to clients. The session offered a few new tools that fit well with our methodology, so we’re confident our next strategy presentation will leave our client or prospect with nothing to say but “you’re hired!”

The Griswold’s having nothing on the Moore’s

For their summer vacation, Melinda and her family, along with 1/7th of Iceland’s population, enjoyed the talented one-man show of Ed Sheeran. They also took in some amazing waterfalls, geysers, craters, blue lagoons, glaciers, and black sand beaches. You can tell by Melinda’s stunning photos that design is just one of her many talents.

WBE Renewal

We just completed the renewal process for our WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) certificate. We are in the 15th year of certification and are proud to be a leading WBE in the Twin Cities.

After Hours

Danette loves digging in the dirt and creating a garden she can enjoy all summer. Rumor has it her neighbors enjoy it too.
