She is past owner of a company called Armonia, assisting the self-employed and entrepreneurs as a bookkeeper and office administrator. “Armonia is Italian for the word harmony,” explains Maureen, “and that told us a lot about Susan right away.”

“Now all my clients are in one place,” Susan says with a smile. “d.trio is solid, but not corporate; smaller but not small minded.”

Her career in bookkeeping and accounting spans 20+ years, depending on when you start counting. Her parents owned a retail business and she grew up around the store. Running the cash register, doing the numbers – it all came naturally to her.
