The d.trio Summer Challenges

fun office stuff at dtrio

Now that the winter challenges of shoveling, snow driving, and maneuvering in parkas are behind us, we thought we’d create some new challenges to keep us on our toes.

Each week during the summer, the d.trio staff will take on a new challenge. Along the way, we hope to try some new things, learn some new things, and test ourselves in some new ways (hopefully, without any injuries). Every Friday, we’ll be announcing the coming week’s challenge. Feel free to join us in our challenge or create one of your own. We’ll keep you posted on our progress as the week goes on. We’ve got some interesting things lined up!

Our challenge for the week of 6/20 is “Random Acts of Kindness.” The plan is for each of us to commit two acts of kindness daily—one here at the agency and one outside of work. The rules: (1) Try to remain anonymous, and (2) the kindness act has to be something you don’t normally do. We’re excited to see what comes of this!

Feel like joining us? Commit your random acts of kindness and share your thoughts, outcomes and photos with us on Facebook.

Week 2 Wrap-up: No Meats or No Sweets

Week 3 was Wacky Week when each day has a new clothing requirement. T-shirt Tuesday, Hat Wednesday, Tourist Thursday and Flourescent Friday netted us some great pictures (see our Facebook for more):

Week 4 was d.trio Triathlon week! As a group we accumulated the Ironman distances for swimming (2.4 miles, running 26.2 miles, biking 112 miles). See what we learned and what our totals were here.

Week 5 was Meditation Week, when we all committed to 10 minutes of mindfulness meditation a day. Learn what we did here and how we did here.
