SEM Success

We manage Google AdWords accounts for several of our clients and are proud to say we get solid responses for them on a regular basis. Earlier this year, two of them wanted to test a higher ad budget (money that goes directly to Google) to see how it would affect their results. To their delight, doubling their budget more than doubled their impressions, traffic, and clicks. It also drove better quality leads, as we were able to win more placements in prime locations. And, because the media plan wasn’t so limiting, planning was easier and less complicated. As a result, we actually billed less agency time, so even more of their money could go toward their AdWords buys. We know all clients can’t afford to double their budgets, but we have all kinds of tips and tricks for making the most of AdWords. Just let us know if you need help.

New Projects for New Clients

All those proposals we’ve been working on are paying off. Over the past few months, we’ve started new projects for several B2B companies in various industries. We’ve been working on new messaging and marketing strategies for a data analytics firm, we’re creating a sales kit for a company that provides warranties and service contracts to the trucking industry, and we’re designing brochures and direct marketing for a big insurance provider. We’ll be highlighting the completed work for all of these projects in upcoming issues of our newsletter.

d.trio Kid Report

We’ve bragged about Sheryl’s smart kids in the past, and now we have another reason to do so. Since high school, Kalli Doyle has had a passion for science and gender equality. Now, as a pre-med student at the College of William and Mary, she co-founded the Steminist Club—a new campus organization that promotes women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers. Their main goal on campus is to support all female-identifying and gender minority members of the college in their STEM classes, projects, and activities. Their community goal is to reach out to local elementary schools and Girl Scout troops to conduct science fairs, laboratory experiments and other related events, to get them excited about STEM early on. Kudos to Kalli for taking the initiative for creating positive change.

Tim’s kids aren’t quite old enough to change the world—they’re just hoping to score big on Halloween. This year, Finn (3) will be transforming himself into Optimus Prime for his trick-or-treating adventure, and Mikko (8 months) will be scaring away all the Halloween demons with his over-the-top cuteness.

Project 333

This month’s choice for our charitable donation is the American Red Cross, Disaster Relief Fund. This year’s weather events have been horrific, relentless and far-reaching—affecting nearly half the country. Our thoughts are with our friends in the south and southeast as they recover from the storms. November 30th marks the end of this year’s hurricane season. Let’s hope it ends sooner than that.
