Trip to Richmond

Several of us recently attended a SunTrust review and planning meeting in Virginia. Although Richmond was a chilly 20 degrees, we were warmly welcomed by the entire SunTrust Line of Business marketing team and spent a productive afternoon reviewing 2019 and discussing goals for 2020. Afterwards, we enjoyed a fantastic group dinner (and maybe a few cocktails) and caught up with old friends and new. We are grateful to the entire team for spending their valuable time with us—we’re looking forward to a great year ahead.

New Projects in the House

We secured projects with two new B2B clients in November—a printing company and a financial services firm. The work includes direct marketing, collateral, rebranding, and a new website.  And now we’re in the thick of the information gathering phase. That means we’re asking a whole lot of questions about these businesses, their needs, their goals, and of course, what problems they’re trying to solve. It’s true—we’re curious nerds, and we’re not afraid to admit it.

ECHO Awards

Megan made a week-long tour of the east coast mixing business and pleasure. As a longtime judge of the ANA (Association of National Advertisers) ECHO Awards, she met ex-business partner, Maureen, in New York during ECHO judging week for networking. She also joined the rest of the crew in Richmond, VA for meetings with SunTrust, and visited Stamford, CT to meet with Synchrony. Then, she topped it all off with a return trip to NYC for the weekend.

AFTER HOURS

Mark never ceases to amaze us with his multiple talents. Not only is he a great designer and writer, he plays the drums in a band with his brother and some friends. And they’re really good!

Carol is out traveling the world again, and she was kind enough to send us a few photos from her adventures in Europe.

Born of curiosity and enthusiasm, we’re a scrappy group of smart, passionate marketers who work hard and play hard. We show up every day and fight for our clients who are making the world a better place. We listen with curiosity, explore deeply, ask hard questions, and sometimes put forth ideas that might make you squirm. Because we believe the status quo is good for growing mold but not much else. The way we see it, change is the way forward and the magic happens when curiosity, math, science, instinct, and talent intersect.
